History: The Charlotte Chapter APA was founded in July,1995. We currently enjoy a membership of over 300 payroll professionals from Charlotte and the surrounding areas representing organizations of a wide variety of sizes and types.

Our Chapter meetings take place in Charlotte from February through October. Meetings are typically held on the third Thursday or Friday of the month. Our meeting agenda includes speakers on a wide variety of payroll-related topics, as well as other topics of general interest to the payroll professional, which provides you with an opportunity to earn recertification credit hours (RCH's). Our goal is to offer members 28 RCHs per year. Vendors are also invited to participate, allowing them to offer their payroll-related products and services. Special Events: Study groups are held twice a year in accordance with the testing schedule with APA. We celebrate National Payroll Week the first Thursday after Labor Day in September and there is an All Day Education Meeting in August.
